This heat has me wanting some chilled, sweet and refreshing, and these Blackberry Milkshakes are just that. They're cold and creamy and have a delicious blackberry flavor. Plus, the blackberries give them their beautiful purple color so they look beautiful too!
These Blackberry Milkshakes are really easy to make and come together quickly. You'll make the whipped cream first so that it's ready to go once the ice cream, milk, and blackberries are blended together.
A FEW NOTES BEFORE WE GET STARTED

You'll first get started by making he whipped cream. Combine heavy cream and sugar in a medium sized bowl. Mix on medium-high with a handheld or stand mixer until somewhat stiff peaks have formed.
Puree the ice cream and milk in a blender for 10-15 seconds until thick and creamy. Add all but 2 of the blackberries and blend for 10-15 seconds until combined.
Pour milkshake into two tall glasses. Top each milkshake with a spoonful of whipped cream and one blackberry. Enjoy!

Whipped Cream
- 113 grams (½ cup) cream
- 1 tbsp sugar
Blackberry Milkshakes
- 5-6 scoops of vanilla ice cream
- 170 grams (¾ cup) milk
- 5 oz (1 cup) blackberries
Instructions

- Combine heavy cream and sugar in a medium sized bowl.
- Mix on medium-high with a handheld or stand mixer until somewhat stiff peaks have formed.
Blackberry Milkshakes
- Puree the ice cream and milk in a blender for 10-15 seconds until thick and creamy.
- Add all but 2 of the blackberries and blend for 10-15 seconds until combined.
Assembly
- Pour milkshake into two tall glasses.
- Top each milkshake with a spoonful of whipped cream and one blackberry.
