If you’ve ever been to a county fair, you know the sweet smell of the cotton candy booth from anywhere. The large vat of cotton candy and the paper cones that are swirled around inside to collect that colorful, sweet goodness into a fluffy cloud. Now what would happen if we took that cotton candy, but transformed it into a milkshake?
These Cotton Candy Milkshakes are the perfect sweet and colorful dessert for summer. Sweet, fluffy cotton candy is blended into creamy, cold ice cream for a delicious treat!
These are some of the simplest milkshakes I’ve made yet! You only need four ingredients: vanilla ice cream, milk, pink and blue cotton candy, and food coloring.
Now let’s get started. You’ll first make the pink milkshake by blending together half of the ice cream, half of the milk, the pink cotton candy, and a few drops of food coloring until combined. Carefully pour this into a pitcher or glass and place it in the fridge to chill.
Rinse out your blender and then add the rest of the ice cream, the rest of the milk, blue cotton candy, and a few drops of blue food coloring. Pour this into a pitcher or glass as well.
Now comes the fun part, making that cool swirled effect! Alternate between pouring the pink milkshake and the blue milkshake into your glass so that the two swirl together. Repeat this with the second glass until both glasses are full.
Now all you need to do is grab a straw and enjoy!
