I'm back with another milkshake recipe for you! This one's not only creamy and delicious, but its hint of liqueur adds an extra fun touch. Yep, Raspberry Liqueur Milkshakes!
A delicious raspberry coulis is drizzled inside the glass to make a beautiful design. Vanilla ice cream, milk, and raspberry liqueur are blended to create a creamy, decadent milkshake, and the whole thing is topped with a spoonful of whipped cream and more raspberries!
These Raspberry Liqueur Milkshakes are so simple and easy to make. You'll start off by making the Raspberry Coulis which will be drizzled inside the glass to create that beautiful design.
To get started on that coulis, combine the raspberries, sugar, and water in a saucepan over medium low heat, stirring until the raspberries have melted down and the sauce is syrupy. Pour it through a fine mesh strainer to remove all of the seeds and pour into a heatproof bowl or glass, chilling until ready to use.
Next, prep your whipped cream topping by blending together your heavy cream and sugar until somewhat stiff peaks have formed. Set this aside.
Now it's milkshake time! Blend together the vanilla ice cream, milk, and raspberry liqueur in a blender for 10-15 seconds until thick and creamy.
And we are ready to assemble! Start by drizzling some of the raspberry coulis into each glass. Chill for 10-15 minutes before pouring the milkshake into each glass. Top off each milkshake with a spoonful of whipped cream and a few more raspberries.
It's decadent, it's cold and creamy, it's too hard to just take one sip! Add a straw and enjoy!
