This Peach Crumble combines delicious, sweet peaches with a buttery, cinnamon flavored crumble topping to make a lovely dessert. It's easy to make, but comes out looking beautiful and tasting amazing. Adding a few scoops of vanilla ice cream on top help take it to the next level.

Ingredients

Peach Cobbler

  • 5-6 peaches, sliced
  • 49 grams (1/4 cup) sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Crumble

  • 4 oz (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, melted
  • 120 grams (1 cup) flour
  • 98 grams (1/2 cup) sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Turbinado sugar, for topping

 

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยบ F.
  2. Combine sliced peaches, sugar, and cornstarch in a 13 x 9 pan. Spread the mixture out so that it is level.
  3. In a large bowl whisk together the melted butter, flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt until it starts to come together like a dough. Crumble it over the peaches in an even layer.
  4. Sprinkle turbinado sugar on top.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Let cool slightly before enjoying.

Notes

  • This is best when served the same day. It can be enjoyed by itself or topped with ice cream or whipped cream.
  • Leftover crumble should be covered in plastic wrap or put in an airtight container. It can be reheated in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds.
  • If you don't have turbinado sugar, you can use granulated sugar for a topping.
