Total Time:55 minutes
5-6 peaches, sliced
49 grams (1/4 cup) sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
4 oz (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, melted
120 grams (1 cup) flour
98 grams (1/2 cup) sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
Turbinado sugar, for topping
Preheat oven to 350º F.
Combine sliced peaches, sugar, and cornstarch in a 13 x 9 pan. Spread the mixture out so that it is level.
In a large bowl whisk together the melted butter, flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt until it starts to come together like a dough. Crumble it over the peaches in an even layer.
Sprinkle turbinado sugar on top.
Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
Let cool slightly before enjoying.
This is best when served the same day. It can be enjoyed by itself or topped with ice cream or whipped cream.
Leftover crumble should be covered in plastic wrap or put in an airtight container. It can be reheated in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds.
If you don't have turbinado sugar, you can use granulated sugar for a topping.
