Chocolate Chocolate Chip Milkshakes

  • 56 scoops of chocolate ice cream
  • 170 grams (3/4 cup) milk
  • 42 grams (1/4 cup) chocolate chips or chopped chocolate, plus more for topping

Chocolate Syrup

  1. Whisk together the cocoa powder, sugar, and salt in a small saucepan.
  2. Add the milk and stir the mixture constantly until it begins to boil.
  3. Reduce the heat slightly so the mixture continues to simmer for about 30 seconds.
  4. Remove the chocolate syrup from the heat, stir in the vanilla, transfer to a heat safe container, and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Once the chocolate syrup has thickened, use a spoon to drizzle it on the inside of both glasses. Place the glasses in the freezer for 5-10 minutes.

Whipped Cream

  1. Combine heavy cream and sugar in a medium sized bowl. Mix on medium-high with a handheld or stand mixer until somewhat stiff peaks have formed. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use, slightly whisking before using if need be.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Milkshakes

  1. Puree ice cream, milk, and chocolate chips in a blender for 10 seconds until thick and creamy.

  1. Pour milkshake into each glass.
  2. Top each milkshake with a spoonful of whipped cream and the leftover chocolate chips or chopped chocolate.
  3. Enjoy!

  • Milkshakes are best served immediately, especially once topped with whipped cream.
